This project was focused around re-branding a community in the city based on the people that live there and the community’s spirit. I chose Evergreen, a community in Calgary’s southwest.
In order to understand Evergreen, I conducted ethnographic research where I interviewed community members, took photos,
and observed community habits. From my research, I found that the community of Evergreen is rooted in nature, as well as everyone knows their neighbors and are very friendly with one another. These aspects were then visualized through a logo design, that the community could use on newsletters, street posts, and any other branded material.
